Melanie Rogalski Miguel

After high school I attended St. Alexis School of Nursing where I met my future husband, Dr. Ruben Miguel. Ruben served as a Major in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. We also spent some time living in Mexico. I later attended Baldwin Wallace College where I majored in Political Science, International Studies and Spanish. I work as a website designer and also do Spanish/English translations (currently translating a book from Spanish to English on Hydroponic Fodder (excellent reading material LOL). I also have published a Mexican E-Cookbook and a softcover version at www.melsmex.com and have several other personal websites.  We have four children, an Attorney, a PhD. in Industrial Psychology, and Optometrist and a Stock Broker. We currently have eight grandchildren, with one more on the way.

In my spare time I love gardening, painting, writing, reading, listening to music, reading tarot cards, power walking, weight lifting, tae kwon do, belly dancing, playing with the grandkids and other fun stuff. Also, I  am the food editor for a learn-to-speak-Spanish magazine. And, if anyone is in the Medina area, I now give Mexican cooking classes at the Buehler's supermarkets cooking schools.

Since I didn't get to the reunion, just thought I'd stick this in here from my niece's wedding this summer. I'm the one in red.

Below is our family as of July, 2003, at my daughter's wedding. Since then, we've had four more grandchildren, a total of eight!!
